Because the official figure transforms solely into an armored Cybertronian tank, DK-78G introduces an engineered heavy cannon extension along with an articulated Walther P38-style pistol grip adapter. This allows other Masterpiece and Studio Series figures (such as SS86 Starscream) to realistically wield Megatron in his legendary gun mode.
