Our Story: Turning Passion into Our Craft

I was born in the 1980s. As a kid, I’d watch the TF animated series on TV, completely fascinated by the Autobots, their stories, and that unforgettable call: “Autobots, transform and roll out!”

Then, in 2010, I finally took the plunge and bought the model I had wanted for a long time: the MP-01B. It was expensive, but the moment I held it in my hands, it completely won me over. That’s when I fell in love with collectible models.

One model quickly became two, then three and before I knew it, I was a collector.

The more I collected, the more I wanted to understand how each model worked—its design, its joints, and how every part came together. To me, models aren’t just for display. They’re meant to be handled and enjoyed.

After years of collecting and studying models, one thought kept coming back to us: Why couldn’t we create a mecha model of our own?

We came from a design background, so in 2015, we founded our own mecha model design studio and started developing models for real.

We soon realized that bringing a model from idea to reality was much harder than it looked. At one point, we spent three months on the concept art alone. The 3D model had over a million polygons and had to be broken down into hundreds—even thousands—of individual parts.

We tested, scrapped, and rebuilt the engineering again and again. Every detail—from materials and tolerances to molds and paint—had to be checked carefully. Sometimes we made trip after trip to the factory just to get one small detail right.

It was tough, but it taught us what it takes to make a great model—and why quality matters.

By then, we knew just how much work goes into making a great product.

In 2018, we took the next step. We also wanted to connect great makers with fellow collectors and bring quality models to people who truly love them.

We’re collectors, not just sellers. We know what matters: good design, solid craftsmanship, and how a model feels in your hands.

With years of design experience and close ties to manufacturers, we carefully choose what makes it into our store.
